connect to the chat room as well. If
you are having problems with the
Java chat applet above, please
use either a chat program such as
mIRC,
or another chat program like it,
or if you are on WebTV follow the
special instructions for it. To logon to DealofDay
Chat through mIRC,
follow these instructions:
- Set your server option to
irc.villageirc.net
- Set the port to 7000
- Type in the nickname you
wish to use (as
applicable)
- Type in your real name
(as applicable)
- Click the connect button.
Once logged on, type /join #DealofDay
To logon to
DealofDay Chat through WebTV,
follow these instructions:
- Return to the Home page
- Select Community
- Select Chat
- Select Go to
- Enter the following:
- server --->
irc.villageirc.net
- port number --->
7000
- the channel name
---> #DealofDay
- Select Connect
