What is MessageGuard®?

- Helps you meet the e-mail encryption requirements of HIPAA, GLBA, California SB-1386, & Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Utilizes new Identity Based Encryption (IBE) key protection as well as industry standard Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
- You can use MessageGuard E-mail Security with your existing e-mail address and any e-mail provider* that supports Outlook® or Outlook® Express.
How Does E-Mail Encryption Work?
Sending an e-mail message with protection from MessageGuard is as simple as clicking a button.
You only need to install a small plug-in to add a "Send Secure" button to your e-mail toolbar. This button is activated after subscribing to MessageGuard. You can use MessageGuard E-mail Security with your existing e-mail address and any e-mail provider* that supports Outlook® or Outlook® Express.
When you're ready to send encrypted e-mail, simply click the "Send Secure" button and your message is safely on its way. It's that simple! Recipients are not required to subscribe to MessageGuard to read your securely sent e-mail.
*Please note: MessageGuard E-mail Security is not currently compatible with mobile devices.
